Dec 9. 2014 | Today J.cole released his newest album "2014 Forest Hill Drive" with no singles or any type of promotion for the album. Being a J.Cole fan and also a fan of Mario Hugo's work (Creator of Born Sinner packaging) I wanted to reconstruct his previous albums visual packaging. This is a part of a project i'm working on called R.A.P: Reconstructing Album Packaging. This movement will showcase me reconstructing existing album packaging and turning it into something more interactive for the listeners and buyers. We are all aware that physically purchasing albums has decreased in numbers over the years, where most purchases are made digitally. Leaving the physical album booklet pushed to PDF formats. Print isn't dead and i'm here to revive the art of album packaging. I will post the video of the interactive design and how it stands out agianst the regular visual artist album packaging. GLD
